About Me

Hello all and welcome to my website! In its various pages, I hope you catch a glimpse into the heart of my craft and all the many places it has taken me. In 2017 I began a BA in Musical Theatre form Birmingham Southern College, oblivious to the journey I was about to embark upon. Through others stories, I found a gateway into the world from the comfort of Alabama. When the wanderlust hit in 2019, I decided to take a semester abroad in Ireland to study aerial arts, musical theatre, comedy writing, and folklore at the University of Limerick.

As the world locked down in 2020, I found myself not in Ireland opening for Jean McGlynn, but back in my childhood bedroom in Nashville, Tn. Preparing to graduate, completely heartbroken, and still waking up at 4am to attend my Irish Tin Whistle course, I was at a loss for how to proceed. In my last term, I was given the opportunity to become a Distinguished Veil Teaching Fellow with the College and lead a course called Theatre’s Call to Action in which I taught community based, devised theatre examining the local experiences of the Civil Rights movement and alternative methods to approaching historical preservation. As staged performances were limited by Covid restrictions, my senior thesis took the form of a play, BET, through which I earned the Distinguished Playwrighting Award from the university.

Entering the workforce as a graduate in 2020, I returned to Tennessee to plan my next steps. Working and saving, I brought forward my plans for furthering my education at the Postgraduate level. Having yet to quench the desire to work and experience life abroad, I attended Edinburgh Napier University receiving an MFA in Acting for Stage and Screen in 2023.

In my Masters, I have had the distinct pleasure of expanding my experiences beyond musical theatre and acting to include voice over, directing, creative learning, design, and arts administration. Being positioned within the vibrant Edinburgh Theatre and Film scene, I have been blessed to work with companies such as Not So Nice! Theatre Company, The Screen Academy of Scotland, The Bohemians Lyric Opera Company, The Forth Act, and Wishbone Media. Additionally, I have participated in the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive and three Edinburgh Fringe performances with the above mentioned companies.

Recent career highlights have included work on the World Premier cast album and Fringe performance of Dusk: A Bite-Sized Musical. Originating the role of Aura has been the culmination of years of acting and musical training. Looking ahead I have returned to my roots, creating a community based, reimagined A Christmas Carol in collaboration with The Forth Act, a company in which I have worked and helped develop as an original company member.
